This 2 day course is designed for trainers and assessors who already hold a TAE40110 Cert IV Trainer Assessor Qualification wishing to upgrade to the TAE40116 Package.

Minimum qualification required to work as trainers for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and private training organisations, to deliver nationally recognised training

Competencies:

The course includes the following units from the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116):

• Training 101
• TAEASS401 Plan assessment activities and processes (Refresher)
• TAEASS403 Participate in assessment validation (Refresher)
• TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools
• TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills (0.5 day)(-$300 if this is completed)

Prerequisites: The learner will have an existing CERT IV TAE40110. For TAA and BSZ Qualifications RPL may be nessessary.
